When students can't imagine what's happening inside a cell or organism, instructors often spend valuable class time helping to build that mental model before deeper learning can begin.

More than 80 of JoVE’s Core Biology animated lessons have now been substantially rebuilt, with more lifelike animation, revised illustrations for greater scientific accuracy, and real microscopic images, helping concepts stick from the very first lecture.
