The Chronicle of Higher Education, a leading publication for professionals in higher education, recently published an article describing JoVE’s history and expansion. The article can be found here.

The article explains how in 2003, Moshe Pritsker, a graduate student at Princeton University, had to travel to the United Kingdom to learn a difficult stem-cell experiment. Moshe, like many scientists, was frustrated while trying to reproduce the results of a published paper in his laboratory. In 2006, Moshe co-founded JoVE and started publishing our first video protocols.

The article goes on to describe how JoVE expanded it's video production over the last six years thanks to Director of Content Aaron Kolski-Andreaco.
